Ice Planet Barbarians #1

I finally read Ice Planet Barbarians and… I have questions. Mostly about myself.

I went into it expecting something completely ridiculous, and it absolutely delivered — but also somehow I was invested? Like fully. Emotionally.

There’s something very unhinged about the premise, but it works in a way that makes you keep reading even when you’re questioning every life choice that led you there.

It’s one of those books where you start out laughing at it and then suddenly you’re like… wait, do I love this?

Anyway. No regrets. Would recommend, but also will not be explaining it to anyone outside of a very specific audience.

Sleep Token — October

I went to see Sleep Token and I still haven't recovered.

There’s something about their music that doesn’t feel like just music, it’s immersive in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it.

The entire show felt surreal. The atmosphere, the crowd, the way everything builds, it just sticks with you.

It’s one of those experiences that makes you want to come home and write immediately... or at least sit in it for a while.
